Fencing

While I am not an active fencer anymore, I started when I was 7. I mainly focused on foil fencing and specialised in that for 6 years. After relocating to Ireland, I transitioned to épée fencing. Where I continued for another 3 years. I won the Pembroke Christmas Cup as my second ever épée competition.

DUFFIES

The Professor Duffy Memorial competition is an Elite Men Team Épée Competition. At 14 I competed with fellow Connaught Fencing teammates. While we were at the bottom of the leaderboard. It was a victory in of itself to win some of my own bouts and to compete with fencers from all over Europe. Some participants were from Germany, France, Italy, United Kingdom and of course Ireland.
